The Loiterers Resistance Movement

November 2021 First Sunday

It’s First Sunday, This Sunday and so time for some more loitering shenanigans. We will be continuing our ongoing experiments using psychogeography and creative wandering to explore our environment.

I’m delighted this month we will be guided by a script inspired by Blake Morris, NYC based Walking Artist, researcher and dear friend to The LRM. Our derive will be part of his #52 More project as we share prompts based on treasures Blake has sent me. You can read more about all of Blake’s work here

All our welcome to join us and, as ever, LRM events are free because the streets (should) belong to everyone.

Wander together in person in Manchester on 7th November, starting at 2pm GMT in Cutting Room Square Ancoats. We will wander for around 2 hours and then stop to share stories and discoveries made.

You can also take part wherever you are and however you move by joining the private conversation on Whatsapp. To get involved send a message, including your name and number, to or 07974929589 by 12 noon GMT on Sunday. Please don’t forget an international code if you are outside the UK. This will be how Blake is communicating with us.

Prompts will also be shared on twitter @thelrm and the facebook group “the loiterers resistance movement” but there may be some delay depending on what is happening elsewhere.

However you loiter please remember to take care of yourself and each other

With love and Golden Apples
