Dear friends and fellow loiterers
Its First Sunday, This Sunday and so time to loiter together. A few folk have been in touch with ideas for starting points which were all quite close together so I’ve merged them a bit and hope this is pleasing.
We’ll meet 2pm this Sunday 3rd August at Pin Mill Brow, specifically the entrance on Limekiln Lane next to the River Medlock. Fittingly and rather poetically the what 3 words are craft.older.linked I have no idea where our wandering will take us so please try and be punctual. If anyone wants to meet a bit earlier I will be mooching my way up from Piccadilly so please feel free to get in touch.
The direction we take will be decided collectively by us on the day, with the pace and terrain suited to all. Our golden rule remains take care of yourself, each other and our environment – and don’t be an arse. We will walk for around 90-120 minutes and then retire somewhere for a beverage and blether. All welcome, and as ever The LRM events are free because these streets belong to everyone. If you have any specific access needs please let me know.
