The Loiterers Resistance Movement

WalkCreate Creative Walking event in Liverpool July 27th

I hope this invitation is of interest to you. If you can not attend but would like to talk about how creative walking might be useful to your work, or you would like a copy of the WalkBook please don't hesitate to contact me as I would love to share with you. Please note this is NOT an LRM event but like many of us my different roles have a symbiotic relationship

Living Streets, The University of Liverpool and our WalkCreate partners invite you to a special walkshop to celebrate The Walkbook: Recipes for Walking and Wellbeing.

The WalkCreate project is using creativity and the arts to bring people together through walking. Join us in Liverpool for an engaging event exploring the power of walking to unite communities.

By attending this short day you will come away with tools to support you in:

How to work with local artists and community partners to lead creative walks

How to use creative ways of walking to work with our communities

All participants will receive a free copy of The Walkbook: Recipes for Walking and Wellbeing

All welcome to join us, whether you are part of an organisation or not. This includes Living Streets, universities, statutory bodies, community organisations and individuals whatever your role - staff, volunteer, artist, activist, researcher, new or experienced in these methods or just curious about what creative walking is.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

If you have any specific access requirements please get in touch and we will do our best to help. There is a small budget available to enable participation

We have limited places for this event so please book your free ticket here:
